How Love Under Review approaches humor, opinion, fact-checking, human input, reader submissions, and AI-assisted production.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

Love Under Review is operated for humor, commentary, editorial publishing, and reader interaction around love, dating, communication, culture, and human behavior.

Editorial Mission

Love Under Review reviews the evidence around dating, communication, love myths, ordinary rituals, social habits, and human confusion through humor, commentary, recurring formats, and personal observation.

Human Input First

Posts should begin with human observations, questions, experiences, opinions, humor, uncertainty, or editorial judgment. The site should not mass-produce generic relationship advice or pretend to offer therapy, legal advice, or one-size-fits-all formulas.

Opinion and Commentary

Many posts are opinion-based or humor-driven. A verdict, theory, label, or joke should be understood as commentary unless clearly presented as factual research.

Research and Fact-Checking

Historical, cultural, legal, health-adjacent, or research-heavy claims should be checked against reliable sources before publication. The site should avoid flattening cultures into jokes, inventing facts, or treating speculation as certainty.

Reader Submissions

Reader-submitted cases and field notes are moderated. Private messages, screenshots, names, identifying details, revenge stories, abuse allegations, or personal vendettas should not be published. Useful patterns may be anonymized, generalized, or rewritten.

Sensitive Topics

The site should avoid exploiting trauma, abuse, harassment, private details, protected-group hostility, or mental-health crisis content for humor or traffic. Content that touches serious issues should redirect readers toward appropriate professional or emergency help where relevant.

Use of AI as Production Assistance

AI tools may help brainstorm, outline, structure, draft, edit, summarize, format, generate metadata, or create production assets from human direction. AI should not invent lived experience, fabricate sources, impersonate real people, generate fake expertise, or replace the site’s human perspective.

The site does not need a standalone AI policy page. This editorial note exists for transparency without making the public brand feel like an “AI content site.”

Corrections

If a meaningful error is found, the site may update, correct, clarify, redirect, unpublish, or add context to the content. Minor edits may not receive a public correction note.

Advertising and Affiliate Independence

Advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links, or monetization should not determine verdicts, claims, or editorial conclusions. Disclosures should be added where required or appropriate.
